The Flexs Q5C is a completely standalone and self contained vibration monitoring device which operates an embedded webserver for device configuration so no special configuration software or cloud services are needed.
The Flexs Q5C can be configured to take a capture vibration amplitudes and make them available to your PLC system over a variety of protocols including
- ModBUS (RTU & TCP)
- EtherIP,
- JSON HTTP
- MQTT
- FTP File Upload
Analysis is setup through easy graphical interfaces and can be configured to identify and track speed / frequency and calculate bearing health etc.
Applications include
- Bearing Fault Analysis (Including advanced enveloping features)
- Fluid Analysis (Cavitation, Sand Intrusion, Leaks)
- Mechanical Failures (Misalignment, Gearboxes)
- Energy (Steam Turbines, Hydro Electric Generation)
Out of the box the unit features 4 analog inputs that can be configured to provided excitation current making them directly compatible with off the shelf ICP sensors. Or they can be configured as a bipolar analog input capable of connecting to a VT or CT for motor energy analysis or speed tachometer.
A easy to use graphical web interface is available which shows all of the information in realtime and can be configured to change the onboard relay state based on the condition analysis.
Support for our industry standard DS18B20 temperature sensor is included and a RS485 port which can be used to integrate with your PLC or industrial application.
An SD Card socket is available for storing logs or for you to upload your own web server frontend which can communicate directly with the built in API for easy custom dashboards.
Our Flexs Q5C is designed for 25+ year deployments and features all solid state ceramic capacitors, static ram, surge protection and built on a proven safety grade ARM microprocessor.

Flexs Q5C Edge Condition Monitoring System
The Flexs Q5C is a fully standalone edge computing vibration monitoring and condition analysis system designed for industrial environments. Unlike traditional monitoring solutions that rely on PCs, cloud services, or proprietary software, the Flexs Q5C performs all signal processing and analysis directly on the device.
An embedded web server provides a modern graphical configuration interface that is accessible from any standard web browser—no software installation, cloud connectivity, or subscription services are required.
With onboard processing, the Flexs Q5C continuously analyzes machine health in real time and publishes processed results directly to your PLC, SCADA, or automation system, significantly reducing network bandwidth while improving system reliability and response time.
High Performance Signal Processing
The Flexs Q5C combines a true 24-bit measurement front end with powerful onboard DSP capable of performing advanced vibration analysis, including:
- Up to 48 kSPS sampling per channel
- Up to 4096-point FFT analysis
- Real-time spectral analysis
- Speed and frequency tracking
- Bearing condition monitoring
- Advanced envelope analysis for early fault detection
- Trending and condition monitoring
- Configurable alarm generation and relay control
All processing is performed locally on the device, allowing actionable machine health information to be delivered immediately without relying on external computing resources.
Industrial Communications
Processed measurements and condition data can be seamlessly integrated into existing automation systems through a variety of industry-standard protocols, including:
- Modbus RTU
- Modbus TCP
- EtherNet/IP
- JSON over HTTP
- MQTT
- FTP File Upload
Whether communicating with a PLC, SCADA system, or our grafana based open cloud platform, the Flexs Q5C makes industrial data integration straightforward.
